Lissa Longley
Lissa was born and raised in the Pittsburgh area until she graduated high school at 18. She then moved to the Lehigh Valley to pursue her college education and to be with her now husband. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Sports Management: Fitness, and Wellness from California University of Pennsylvania.
She has been dancing since the age of five, and her passion and love for dance have only grown stronger over the years. Right out of high school, she knew she wanted to continue dancing. In college, she took classes, joined the college dance team, and connected with local studios, eventually becoming part of a dance company. After focusing on her college studies for about two years, she felt called to share her passion for dance with others. That’s when she began teaching at studios throughout the Lehigh Valley. She has now had the privilege of teaching dance in the area for the past 20 years.
While she has received awards and adjudications for her choreography in competitive dance, nothing compares to the joy she feels from impacting the lives of her students each day.
“Everything I do is for the glory of God and to show my children that, through Him, anything is possible. I am so excited to embark on this new journey to impact lives and follow wherever God leads me. Thank you all for your love and support. I can’t wait to share my love for Jesus with each of you. Everything I do is for Him, and I will continue to walk in the path he has set before me.”
